the coder poofed... again. i just dont rlly check itchio much outside of personal use but i have given some degree of updates on discord. basically, it's technically not dead but its basically sitting still until some shit changes, as for when... yeah your guess is as good as mine. If your waiting anxiously for an actual release update... yeah i'd recommend just dropping that excitement to be pleasantly surprised whenever and if-ever it does. I'm not a fan of the situation either

Well, the programmer did resurface again two months ago, said their computer issues are now fixed and that they will continue to work on the game. No update since then, though – even on Discord. There's always hope, as they say, but it doesn't look good.

I guess the game is dead? since it's the same like with the original maker, put out one small update and then silence. Shame, was a good game.
well, frankly the situation is I cannot code, and my coders end up disappearing out of nowhere so i kinda just sit here w nothing i can rlly do unless someone else rolls it. It's an annoying spot I only signed up as a writer, but yeah as of rn it's at a standstill
but yeah for full transparency we got like.. 80% done converting the game to a better coding format so u could have inbuilt saves and other stuff, but then the coder i had just.. disappeared around a lil less than a month ago and well, not much I can do unless i wanted to go on another recruiting spree. Coding is just beyond my capabilities idk how to code in the slightest

Thanks for the transparency. That's a bummer, but hardly something you can do anything about. The one thing I can suggest in that situation is maybe trying to get workable code in the programming language you need from ChatGPT. It worked for me once and my coding skills are nonexistent as well. If you know what you want coded and/or you have the code for the game available, then maybe that's worth a try.
Anyway's, It's good to know what's going on. Maybe they'll show up again one day.

Good update! The descriptions are really good and you laid out some interesting options for the future of the game. Couple of questions / comments:
Some of the art has a broken link or is missing. Are you planning to change the original artwork? (Beach scenes and the date)
Special option with the robbers: are we talking about a fourth option? Any hints on how to trigger it?

We had lost most images but I just found them again, so I'll make sure to add them all and release it again soon. As for the robbers, buy the basement first and don't drain them completely

The team is currently working on the next update but as you might know the game has switched to another development team until the developer gets better. This however means that we need to restart the development and get into gear. As for when the update might be, i dont think it will take too long but we also want it to be great and therefore we are trying not to rush it.

I'm stuck, after the deer I can't get the bear option, plus a lot of the game seems bugged (the look at yourself option is gone, plus some text doesn't "end" and i have to go back with the arrows), any help? Or it's normal?

can you please add saving because there’s a certain part there’s 3 options so please add save
i have to look into adding savings but until then you can always go back and see the other choice with the button in the top left.
just remember that the last choice you made is the one that counts for the game!
Hi dude. Just wanted to said that game is cool and i cant wait for the next update whenever it comes (curious whats about to happen when she drains a bear!). Also love the way i can treat with the robbers (spare or absorb), thought it gonna be an interesting karma system, but understand how hard should it be to create one. yeah i wanted to implement some degree of freedom and future updates going to show that where you can choose ecen morenof what to do.
the problem with the karma system is more the "getting rid of it"
i had this idea where you get negativ karma for killing humans and police and so on get on your trail but it gets difficult when getting rid of it if you for example don't absorb humans for a while or slmething like that.
you can hunt deer and gain strength there is just no story as of yet.
well it's "finished a bit quickly" because i work on it alone whenever i want to and have time. i don't really push myself to deadlines or something since it's a hobby project.
the basement will be in v0.2 and you can imprison certain npc there to drain them.
